Wednesday CRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist) - Full-Time | Up to $415k | St. Joseph's Medical Center - Stockton, CA

We are looking for a provider to anchor our mid-week coverage with a recurring Wednesday First Call (24-Hour) shift. Enjoy the highest level of clinical autonomy and a leading compensation package in California.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Annualized Salary (Based on Experience | Inclusive of call stipend):
• 5+ Years: $415,611.20
• 2–5 Years: $390,609.60
• 0–2 Years: $380,604.80
• Sign-On Bonus: $40,000-$60,000 (dependent on time of commitment)
• Paid Time Off: 7 Weeks PTO

Practice Environment

• Facility: St. Joseph’s Medical Center (Stockton, CA) – A 355-bed regional hospital and Level III Trauma Center.
• Schedule: Every Wednesday – First Call (In-House 24 Hour).
• Call Expectations: In-house shifts with post-call days off.
• Balance: Remaining hours scheduled flexibly to ensure work-life balance.
• Practice Model: Full Independent Practice. No medical direction.
• Scope: Full scope of practice including regional anesthesia, arterial lines, central lines, and high-acuity cases.
• Team: Work alongside 14n physicians, 30+ independent-practice CRNAs, and 24 resident physicians.
• Case Mix: ~14,300 annual cases including General, Trauma, Cardiac (~800/yr), OB (3,000 births/yr), and Interventional Radiology.
• Academic: Work in a supportive teaching environment alongside the Anesthesia Residency program.

Hospital Profile: 

• St. Joseph's Medical Center in Stockton, CA, is a 355-bed hospital and part of the CommonSpirit Hospital System. St. Joseph’s is the largest hospital in San Joaquin County and is considered the 10th busiest cardiothoracic department in California. The Anesthesia Residency program started in July 2021. Residency subspecialty training currently available at St. Joseph’s includes cardiac, obstetrics, critical care, acute and chronic pain , and pediatrics.
